Principal, Gordon Elementary
Benjamin Rodgers, born in Detroit, graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. After teaching for fifteen years, he received his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University. He spent the next ten years as a Principal, and Marshall Public Schools hired him in 2021. Initially, he was hired to work as an MTSS Coordinator for the District and gladly accepted the role of Principal of Gordon Elementary School.
Gordon Elementary is a terrific blend of academics and a family environment. I love the sense of community in the hallways, playgrounds, and classrooms. Gordon Elementary and Marshall Public Schools are committed to nurturing the whole child.
